Free to use

How this is free.

Every calculation is free to use.

The calculator, all ten tunings, custom scale lengths, target notes, single-string suggestions and shared setups are free. There is no paid plan.

When you buy strings through one of our Amazon links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That is how the site pays for itself.

Matches are ranked by calculated string tension and your chosen feel band. Commission never changes which pack we match: the ranking is the same tension math shown on the finder.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
